Devlog 2025-06-10


Hi! 

I thought i'd start making some devlog posts on this page as a way to show of my work and possibly drum up some excitement for the next chapter of the game. 

If you have any questions about the project. Feel free to comment, DM or communicate them to me in some other way that is convenient to you. I'd love another excuse to talk about my project, you know :) This post will simply be about about my most recent progress.

So i've recently finished a batch of viewmodel animations for most of the items i plan to introduce in the next chapter. Along with that i've also implemented all the new mechanics that they depend on. Such as enemy view obstruction and a lock-on system for the player, along with some little extras. Here are some previews! (Sorry for the low res. Have to respect the file size.)

     

Some audio and texture work remains for these items. But for now i'll save it for later, as a way to allow me to vary my workload. Having something less "intense" to do that still contributes to the game i've realized is highly benefitial for me.
